Cooking Light Santa

I haven't put any work up in months. I've so busy and so many things have been distracting me lately. While I'm out of my little art block and I have at least two sketchbooks filled up, I don't have any finished work. The most recent thing I've done is for my internship for Cooking Light magazine. One our sales managers needed an image for a flyer to send to their clients to remind them buy advertisment space. They needed a Santa Claus image for the flyer to read "Only HE Delivers to Most Households..." so I messed with some colored pencils and did this. It was highly influenced by Norman Rockwell's Santas. I can't show the finished flyer because it was designed by one of our promotion artists.

It was quite weird but fun to draw Christmasy images in May.... but I got draw and sketch and color during work and it was worth it!

Now I have finish up those friggin sketches in my sketchbook.....
