"Just focus on your work, Mikey..." or "Where the hell did my screen time go?"
Finally saw TMNT Friday night and was inspired to a do a sketch. This was my first attempt at the turtle's new design and it shows. I LOVED the movie. Chuck full of TMNT goodness, but way too rushed and very short. Like a lot of people have commented, it seems like so much was cut to fit the hour and half time frame. Hopefully I'm not spoiling too much for anyone who hasn't seen it, but it screamed sequel at the end. Perhaps they'll fix that in the second one. Donny was just adorable in the film, but he was barely in it! Raph on the other hand got more than enough and I'm not complaining  Mikey and Don acted as more background characters. Heck, I think Casey and April got more than them. Guess I'll have to wait for the DVD release. Still, the movie was great and I plan on seeing it again soon. |
