A two hour study on our four favorite turtles in one composition. I normally do alot of head shots and single character drawings of these guys, but never all together. This was a excerise I did to get me pumped up on another piece for school and it proved to be a bit tough. I like the high constrast with the whites and darks, but because my hand was getting sore it is not very cleaned up. But its just a study. Kudos to any crazed fan that can tell me what scene in the movie this from!! I am currently working on a commissioned Raph piece on the side, so I took a lot of time in his sketch to see if could really get his angry, I'm gonna kick ass look down. I'm pleased with the expression, heh heh, pissed off Raphy. I really got to learn the differences in their head shapes and faces. Mikey was pushed way back behind Leo, so I did not get to explore him as much as the other three. Donny came out crappy....I dunno, I must have gotten a bit sloppy at the very end of the sketch. He was in the shadows and I had to dig out some of the detail from my head. Sketchy, messy and on toned paper. Grah, arah..... But this was fun. :::rubs sore hand::::
